VIDEO: Every Actor Who’s (Officially) Played Wonder Woman!

May 24th, 2017 Tamara Brooks Lists & Things, Video

After over 75 years after her comics debut, Wonder Woman’s first live-action, big screen film will finally be hitting theaters on June 2. While she hasn’t quite had the same number of projects as the other two members of DC’s Trinity, she’s had a lot more appearances than you might’ve thought.

So here are the 22(!) actors, besides Gal Gadot, who’ve played the Princess of Themyscira over the years:

Ellie Wood Walker – Who’s Afraid of Diana Prince? (1967)
This comedic take on Wonder Woman was the brainchild of Producer William Dozier (pilot written by Stan Hart and Larry Siegel) in an attempt to replicate the huge success of Batman ‘66. It… didn’t quite work out.

Jane Webb – The Brady Kids ep “It’s All Greek to Me” (1972)
In which the Brady Kids meet Diana Prince and are magically transported to Ancient Greece and have the urge to tamper with history. For reasons. Complete with laugh track.

Shannon Farnon – Superfriends (1973-1984)

Cathy Lee Crosby – Wonder Woman TV Movie (1974)
Meant as a backdoor pilot of sorts, this version takes a nod from Diana’s ‘60s spy phase.

Lynda Carter – Wonder Woman TV series (1975-1979)
The icon.

Connie Caulfield – Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show (1984-1985)

BJ Ward – The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians & Superman (1988)

Susan Eisenberg – Justice League/Justice League Unlimited (2001-2006), Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010), Justice League: Doom (2012), DC Nation shorts (2012-2014)

Lucy Lawless – Justice League: New Frontier (2008)
The perfect version of Wonder Woman for the Xena: Warrior Princess star.

Vicki Lewis – Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008-2011)

Keri Russell – Wonder Woman Animated Movie (2009)

Maggie Q – Young Justice (2010-2013, 2018?)

Vanessa Marshall – Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010), Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)

Adrianne Palicki – Wonder Woman pilot (2011)
Even though this pilot went down a wrong path, Adrianne had all the qualities to be excellent in the role. Since it wasn’t released officially, there isn’t any footage to embed here. It’s not like someone made a fan intro using the original series theme song or anything…

(NBC/DC Comics)

Laura Bailey – Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite (2013)
She also voiced Wonder Woman in the video game! There really isn’t much footage of Diana speaking from the game or film floating around so here’s Laura in an interview.

Michelle Monaghan – Justice League: War (2014)

Grey DeLisle – LEGO Batman: Be-Leaguered (2014), JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time (2014). DC Super Hero Girls (2015-?), Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League (2016)

Cobie Smulders – The LEGO Movie (2014)
While we may know her better as Agent Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has the honor of being the first Wonder Woman to be on the big screen (albeit in LEGO form).

(WB/Zimbio)

Kari Wahlgren – Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League (2015)

Tamara Taylor – Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015)
This version of Wonder Woman is actually Bekka from the New Gods in the Elseworlds-like tale from Bruce Timm.

Rosario Dawson – Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015), Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016), Justice League Dark (2017)

Rachel Kimsey – Justice League Action (2016-?)
