Check out these shows and get your floaties ready because the sea is a dangerous place!
1. Black Sails
This Starz series has it all. Compelling cast, glorious music and visuals and enough seasons that you can dive in and keep going on your swashbuckling way for quite some time!
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
This one is obvious, right? Beautifully done, acting and story that are fun while also interesting and, well… Johnny Depp in a costume.
3. Peter Pan
A lot of folks haven’t seen this one, as the Disney cartoon and Hook are generally the go-to for Peter Pan related flicks. However, this movie has a heap of amazing acting and most of all of it comes from the young fella Jeremy Sumpter who played Pan. Check a look at the trailer!
4. Treasure Island
Eddie Izzard, Donald Sutherland, Elijah Wood and a handful of wonderful actors bring Treasure Island back to life in this TV-made movie. For fans of Reign, Toby Regbo is also in this in one of his earlier roles. The whole thing screams ‘gorgeous production value’ and you’ll dig deep into it if you were wanting a BBC movie with pirates.
