This mission has been one close to our hearts, Looters, and we are excited as we can be to see you all joining us on the first leg of what we hope to be an incredible journey!…

(Chelsea Zhao on Instagram posed with her crate when it arrived: “NEW VIDEO! I just could not wait to share this with you guys, so I decided to upload early.” newlyvulcan)
Loot Crate announced last year that we’ve joined forces again with Quantum Mechanix Inc. (QMx) to create the Star Trek Mission Crate. Each Mission Crate contains great new surprises that can’t be replicator-ed!

Star Trek Mission Crates feature exclusive, officially licensed, collectible products that celebrate every Trek film and series. The items made by QMx carry a distinct connection to the Trek universe and range from ships and figures to prop replicas and wearables.
For our maiden voyage with the Mission Crate, we worked with QMx to celebrate one of the biggest moments in the seven-year run of Star Trek: The Next Generation – the Battle of Wolf 359! The culmination of the supenseful two-parter “The Best of Both Worlds,” this is the battle that saw the Enterprise and the Federation face off for the first time against the lethal Borg… all the while, with Captain Jean-Luc Picard having been captured and assimilated by the cyborg race. Enter Locutus…

HEADS UP: SPOILERS from this point onward. If you haven’t gotten your crate yet, bookmark this post and please come back and see us later!….
Good to go? Make it so!
We brought this key moment in Star Trek history alive with these items:
- Official Master Series Locutus of Borg Figure
- Official U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 D Mini Master
- “Borg Assimilation” T-shirt
- “Resistance Is Futile” Decal
- PLUS: A communicator badge from the latest entry in the franchise, Star Trek Discovery, in the Starfleet division of your choice.
- A special first-crate commemorative box design in the shape of the Galileo shuttle craft from Star Trek, The Original Series.
- And a DLC offer from our friends at Star Trek Online!
We know, it’s a cool sounding list, but why don’t you take a look at what’s actually inside?! Let steev the technophile show you what’s inside this first Mission Crate in this very nicely shot unboxing video:
Our initial launch date for this first crate was moved from November 2017 to February 2018; we have been anticipating the arrival of this crate just as much as you have, Looters, and we hope that you feel it was as worth the wait as we do! Judging by some of the first reactions, we are pleased to see smiles from our resident Trek fans.
Thank you to all of the Looters who shared their pictures with us using #missioncrate and #lootcrate on Twitter and Instagram, too. Keep sharing and YOU could be featured on our blog, social pages or in our magazine! Be sure to tag the official @StarTrek channels, as well!
