QUIZ: What video game creature should you adopt?

Okay so, you objectively won this quiz.  This efficient, loyal, extremely good boy is seen in most Fallout games, excluding New Vegas and 76. He will fight for you, pick up items for you, and love you forever.  Today, you will be adopting the best iteration of Dogmeat (in my opinion), Fallout 4 Dogmeat. He's a beautiful German Shepherd who CAN'T DIE! Long live Dogmeat.

You have been blessed.  Epona is the beautiful horse featured in many Zelda games. Today, you will be adopting my favorite iteration, Ocarina of Time Epona. She's loyal and useful, but you'll have to give her a carrot to gallop.  And it's a good thing you're musically talented because Epona needs someone ready to learn her theme song.

Who wouldn't want to adopt a dinosaur?? Especially one as helpful as this good boy.  Yoshi is a long-standing member of the Super Mario Bros. series. He even has a few games of his own. Today, you'll be taking home the original Yoshi as seen in Super Mario World SNES.  Please don't use him as a springboard.

An iconic pet for an iconic owner. This little Pokémon might be the most dangerous and cutest pet on this quiz.  Today, you will be adopting the Pikachu as seen in Pokémon Yellow. He's a hard-to-control companion, but loyal and loving when a bond is formed. He needs a patient, smart owner (*cough* Not Ash Ketchum *cough*).  Just don't expect him to stay in his Pokeball.

This little blue boy might be the most famous on our list.  Introduced in 1991, Sonic has been through lots of different iterations. Sonic can be sassy, short-tempered, easy-going, impatient, and sometimes even a little funny. Today, you'll be adopting the Sonic seen in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Genesis, the best Sonic game in my opinion.  Just be happy you aren't getting Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog '06. Princess Elise not included.  

I don't know why you wanted a rude boy, but here he is. This dog will always be there to laugh at your mistakes. How FUN.  In the Duck Hunt games, the Laughing Dog appears if the player fails to shoot any of the ducks and laughs for a while. He's been taunting people since the original 1984 Duck Hunt and even gets in on some Super Smash violence occasionally.  No matter how much he laughs at you, please don't try to shoot this dog. That's still animal abuse.

Ahhhh Claptrap. Claptrap is the divisive Borderlands side character appearing in every game. He has been called "the worst character" and "an annoying piece of trash" but in my house, we love this robot mess.  Maybe buy a set of earplugs though.
