PAX East shared a lot with gamers in terms of games coming out this year and even further, but of the titles coming this year there were a few that I felt didn’t get nearly enough coverage and should! Check out these 5 games that you may have missed that are definitely on my go-to list! I’m so excited!
As a note, there are dozens upon dozens of games that were announced and while I will be staying away from Triple A titles and leaning into more independent developers, there are so many titles you’ll love. 2018 is shaping up to be a great year for gamers of all types.
1. Decay of Logos | Fall 2018 | PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch
2. Last Year: The Nightmare | Summer 2018 | PC (So far) | Video: IGN
3. Outer Wilds | (Rumored for Fall) 2018 | PC | Video: GameSpot
4. SCUM | Q2 2018 | PC
5. Sky Noon | (Possibly) Summer 2018 | PC
Yes, I included something from Last Year: The Nightmare, because I’m obsessively in love with 5v1 games. However, there is some very real excitement when it comes to SCUM and Sky Noon on my end. Those who want to live in those wonderful experiences via single-player story will get lost in Decay of Logos and those looking for some beautiful survival in a sandbox setting are going to live for Outer Wilds. Check these out, wishlist them and prepare for a pretty rad 2018 of gaming!
