When we were all kids (and maybe some of us now), we always had to build our dream comic book LEGO sets from scratch. They were always ‘good enough’ but not quite the real deal, you know? Well, until LEGO gave us all these rad Marvel Iron Man sets to build!

Important thing to keep in mind, I was mindful to include items from current series — as there are PLENTY more past series of Iron Man builds, but they’re harder to find and typically people buy them and resell them for a ridiculous amount. I also linked directly to LEGO’s page so you were well aware of what the information looked like and weren’t taken to any shady resellers.
Trust me, the LEGO build community is rife with knockoffs that you can find, but they will always be of lesser quality and so you want to go to LEGO primarily to find where they sell the genuine article. Walmart and Target are my typical go-tos and if I do go to Amazon, I make sure to always buy from a legitimate and well-rated source and read reviews. Knockoffs are EVERYWHERE and they rarely fit properly or have the gold standard that LEGO does in their kits. Imagine building seventy-five percent of your set to find that it is missing pieces and/or the pieces are misshapen and they don’t work. That’s a big ol’ nope from me, fam.

While this isn’t a primarily Iron Man set, it comes with the absolute coolest Iron Man action build I’ve seen in a dual Hero build set. Check those diggy-dang propulsion jets out! Now, if you’re curious what the FULL LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers set line-up looks like, look no further than All New Bricks who put together an incredibly cool speed-build compilation of the set pieces. It’s definitely worth a peek to see what is out there and what could fill your spare bedroom if you were so inclined.
