‘Tis the season, right? The season of holiday gaming events for 2018 is almost over and here’s a smattering of Holiday online game events you MUST dive into! Get your stockings hung up and get the cookies and milk, we’re going in!
There’s tons of events going on with all different styles and genres of games, but this is a handful to get you and your friends into the holiday spirit. As of now, these events are all live and active – just grab your sleigh and get ready!
Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland Seasonal Event:
One of my favorite things is to check out all the new skins coming to Overwatch for every single event they do! This year’s Winter Wonderland is no exception! Check out your favorites, grab your pals and go unlock every loot box you can find! We approve!
Destiny 2’s The Dawning Event:
This is an event I’ve been clawing my way through since it came out. Coupled with the new Black Armory events, The Dawning has been a staple with Destiny fans since the first title came out. Filled with festive gear for the season, special Ghost shells and fun emotes – you typically only got your hands on rather surface level items. This time around, Eva is back and as my buddy MoreConsole describes, there’s a lot to her special quests. Get that sleigh, smack a Suros candy-cane stripe on that bad boy and get your festive on.
ARK: Survival Evolved’s Raptor Claus!

Listen, I can’t tell you what is going on here – but you should boot up ARK and tell me more about it. I saw this and was laughing to the point of exhaustion.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood’s Starlight Celebration:
Few games take the holiday quite so seriously, yet beautifully dramatic as Final Fantasy XIV does. Hit up the Starlight Celebration and sing in choirs in the most glorious robes. World of Warcraft’s Feast of Winter Veil:

This happens every single year and every year that I was involved, I ran to that Christmas tree and went bonkers. I’d make every sugar cookie, I’d wipe out all of the poor creatures who dropped eggs and sell them for outrageous prices in the Auction House. Yes, I was that person. Fight me. But seriously, this event makes every WoW player’s holiday even more special. Make sure you check out MrGM’s video detailing all of the new goodies to be found in this year’s Feast!
Elder Scrolls Online: New Life Festival:

Now, I personally have never been in Elder Scrolls Online when a New Life Festival occurred but I have friends who try and pull me back in just because they know I love a good event. Shimmer here details the festival beautifully and gives so much information that you’ll be booting up and updating before it even finishes! Come back with your tales from the ESO, kind traveler.
