Yeah. You read that right. You can play Pac-Man for free just by googling the word.
On May 21, 2010, the 30th anniversary of PAC-MAN, Google released its first-ever playable doodle. Click here if you want to play it right now! Fun fact: if you put in an extra coin, Ms. PAC-MAN appears, allowing you to play with a friend (one using arrow keys and the other, WASD).
Speaking of playable Google doodles, here are some other incredible time-killers.
Halloween 2016 Google doodle:
This is objectively the cutest Google doodle of all time. A little cat named Momo is on a mission to rescue her school of magic. And you get to help her fight some ghosties. SO CUTE.
Solve a Rubik’s Cube:
Yeah, it’s just a Rubik’s Cube that you can solve. Pretty sick.
155th Anniversary of the Pony Express:
This adorable game lets you play as a lil guy picking up mail and delivering it to towns. Just don’t hit a cactus. That applies to real life as well.
Valentine’s Day 2017:
Roll around the plains as a pangolin, all in the name of love. It’s like Sonic, but cuter and better-made.
2012 Summer Olympics:
Play basketball, soccer, hurdles, and the randomest of sports, slalom canoe in this multi-mini-game doodle.
Doctor Who 50th anniversary:
In this one, you can play as one of the first eleven doctors as you point-and-click your way through obstacles. It’s incredible and adorable and look at those little doctors run.
