One of the perks at Loot Crate HQ is that we are a dog-friendly office. With a great environment for dogs, there is never a day that goes by that there isn’t at least one lovable, huggable pup for us to spoil.
Meet some of our furry companions!:
Calvin
Hi, I’m Calvin. I’m a 9 1/2 year old, Formosan Mountain dog. My mom’s name is Sarah and she does Customer Research for Loot Crate. My mom rescued me 5 1/2 years ago after I had surgery to have my front leg amputated. It wasn’t easy but mom and I got through it and I don’t let the lack of a leg stop me. I’m happy to just be showered in love. The folks at Loot Crate are great for that. A lot of them have treats at their desks and they love giving me some when mom isn’t looking.
Copper
Oh boy oh boy people! Hi everyone, my name is Copper! I’m a 7-year-old pup that my dad calls a “SPCA Special.” I’m actually a mix of some of the best breeds: Dachshund, Terrier and Ridgeback. Who is my dad? Oh, his name is Colby and he does something for the Marketing department. I don’t know what, just that when he’s doing whatever it is he does, he’s not playing with me. One of my favorite things to do at Loot Crate is to peer into people’s souls and persuade them to bless me with food. I’m very good at it too. Feed me.
Daisy
Hello. I’m Daisy. I’m a little sad that those of you meeting me on here will not be able to give me food (I LOVE bananas and peanut butter and…well anything really). I’m a 4-year-old American Pit Bull. Some folks are timid if not out right scared of us pit bulls, but there is no need to fear me. Unless you don’t like snuggles or kisses, because I love snuggles AND kisses, just ask my mom Janice. Mom helps manage the Customer Support team at Loot Crate and is my number one snuggle buddy. We like to cuddle and watch Cosmos, but really, who doesn’t like that show?
Dakota
New people. Hmm. Hello. My name is Dakota and I’m a 3-year-old rescued German Shepherd. My father thought it was important that I learn commands in German as well as English. The nice people at Loot Crate get a kick out of it when they find out. Protecting my dad, Jason, is really important to me so you better not try and sneak up on us. We like to go hiking and camping together when he isn’t at Loot Crate working on licensing and partnerships (I don’t quite know what that means). I do know that thanks to Loot Crate I have my favorite toy, the Leatherface plush from the HORROR crate. He’s fun to chew on.
Kirby
Oh! What’s this!? New people! HI NEW PEOPLE! I’m Kirby, I just turned one year old. Some of my Loot Crate dog buddies turned one recently too and they threw a group birthday party! That’s where my picture was taken. I was eating cake and it was YUMMY! There were a lot of dogs there. I got a little scared cause there were so many dogs, but my daddy protected me. (I’m a Parti-Yorkie so I’m kind of small and get a little nervous in crowds.) My daddy, Anthony, he’s in charge of the Loot Pets crate, which is really cool because I get all kinds of neat toys and treats! Like my bacon toy. Oh my gosh, I love my bacon toy! But I don’t love loud noises so don’t ring the doorbell.
LC
More people to love me! YAY! Hello people! I’m LC or Loo-C. I used to be called Elsie at the shelter. I’m new to Loot Crate my new dad and his family rescued me about a month ago. I’m am a wire-haired Dachshund about one year old (there could be some Terrier in me too). My dad’s name is Mitch and he does stuff with Humans and Resources I’m told. My family (mom, dad, and human brother & sister) picked lucky me from all the other pups at the shelter. The person at the counter said my name was “Elsie – 108” but Dad heard “L C – 108.” He liked that; it could be an abbreviation for many things like Little Critter, Loyal Companion, and of course, Loot Crate. But mom didn’t love it so I’m now usually called Loo-C. But dad reserves the right to call me by my initials. The people at Loot Crate like to call me LC too. I love my new family so they can call me whatever they want. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Except maybe stuff to chew on.
Moby
I’m Moby! Wanna play! I love to PLAY! Dad says I have a lot of energy, that’s why we go to dog parks so I can run around with all the other dogs and sometimes dad takes me swimming in the ocean! I’m a 3-year-old Cockapoo. Hehe. That’s a silly breed name. But it does mean I’m soft and fluffy and I think it helps get people to pet me. Which makes it GREAT! My dad Barrington goes away for Loot Crate; he says he’s doing “events” but all I know is he isn’t home, though I have my stuffed monkey to cuddle. When he is home, I get spoiled with Trader Joe’s roasted chicken strips, which are delicious! I like going to Loot Crate, but sometimes they’re mean and won’t let me play with their “collectibles.” I just want to nibble on them a little.
Ollie
Hello, I’m Ollie. Are you going to pet me and worship me? Yes? Okay. My mom rescued me several years ago; I love my mom, she has the best lap to sit on and get snuggles from. Seriously, we don’t need to play, I don’t like toys. Just love me and brush me and tell me I’m perfect. I don’t like being cold so my mom always makes sure I have a cute shirt on or a blanket to snuggle me in. I’m a little guy with a big heart. My mom Ciji works on the Community team at Loot Crate. I love going to work with her because when she’s busy, there are all sorts of other people who will snuggle with me. They tell me I’m cute and perfect, and that my ears are too cute. I’ve just got good breeding, I am a Papillion/Chihuahua mix. What I don’t like though is being ignored, loud noises or that mean cat outside my house who won’t let me eat his food. So are you gonna pet me or what?
