In honor of this month’s Loot Anime theme, we asked some of the Loot Anime staff what their favorite moments were from the different anime included in Dimension! Find out what we found memorable from No Game No Life, Sword Art Online, Re:Zero, and Log Horizon!
No Game No Life
One of my favorite moments from No Game No Life would have to be the ending of episode 11, “Killing Giant.” The plan Sora and Shiro had created in order to beat Izuna of the Eastern Federation was exciting to see executed, and caused Izuna to activate Blood Destruction to make her stronger. It definitely hyped me up the season finale.

Sword Art Online
The ending of the first season of Sword Art Online was my favorite moment. When Kirito and Asuna first meet in real life after all the hardship they had faced in Alfheim Online was definitely the happiest moment of the show. Especially after Asuna’s father tried to marry her off when she wasn’t even conscious. Talk about scummy.

Re:Zero
My favorite scene from Re:Zero was in episode 19, where the audience sees clear character development and growth from Subaru. This scene was when Subaru realizes his method of getting things done was wrong and takes a different approach by forming an alliance with Crusch to battle the White Whale in exchange for shared mining rights. This was a positive turning point in the anime and I really enjoyed it.

Log Horizon
Oddly enough, my favorite moments from Log Horizon all involve food. The most notable, however, is from season one! I loved the scene where Nyanta teaches Shiroe, Akatsuki, and Naotsugu the secret behind real tasting food. This eventually led to the production of the “Crescent Moon Burger” for stage one of Shiro’s plan. Also Serara’s love for Nyanta is too cute.
