You didn’t think we forgot you yesterday, right? Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight will more than make up for it. Not to mention, I found you some awesome releases and trailers that are going to make your inner gamer nerd squeal. Let’s get into it!
Nintendo Spotlight:
Metroid Prime 4 nearly killed people with excitement when the title card showed up during the Spotlight. If you could’ve heard the air get sucked out of a room — it would’ve been during this trailer as well, since it’s never going to be a bad thing when people get more side-scrolling Metroid action.
Super Mario Odyssey:

Now, I don’t know if you caught it during the Spotlight, but while this is another Pokemon Tournament title that we sorely wanted, they did confirm that there will be an actual RPG Pokemon title coming for the Switch. Honestly, this was the crowd pleaser and got the Pokemon lovers feeling some good hype to get their hands on a Pokemon console title.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle:
When Ubisoft announced this crossover title, we were a bit dubious. Thankfully, by the time we got to the Spotlight — we got to see an awesome bit of XCOM flavored tactics and the Internet calmed itself right down.
