It’s incredible when you think about the talent that goes into EA and Bioware’s Mass Effect series. Featuring some of the best talents in voice acting, we thought we’d compile some rad behind the scenes features that fans may have missed. Have a seat, pretend you’re on the Normandy and settle in. You’ll love these.
Mass Effect 1‘s Outtakes:
Click for Keith David’s smooth-voiced realness, but stay for Marina Sirtis giving a masterclass in how to be an incredible Matriarch Benezia. Mass Effect’s first title was filled with some iconic voice work, but they would soon end up gathering even more talent before they knew it.
Mass Effect 2: Behind the Scenes
It’s pretty intense to see the amount of work that went into (my favorite of the series) Mass Effect 2. While the developers explain some of the work they have done, it’s Seth Green awkwardly avoiding telling people his character is flat out in love with an AI that is the best part of this.
Mass Effect 3: Voice Casting
We’re here for Freddie Prinze Jr.’s James Vega. Yeah, yeah. Martin Sheen. I know, I know.. every other super and incredible talent. I get it, but I was here for James Vega and this is about me and not you. Wait. No. Breathe, Candice. Sorry. So, as I was saying… did I mention Jennifer Hale is the only Commander Shepard we need? Because she is. Mass Effect 3 was a triumph for fans all over, even when the ending caused such a stir. Check out these wonderful voice actors talk shop and remember why this series was and always will be everything.
