We’ve all had our share of action figures, dolls and toys based on our favorites when we were growing up, right? Heck, even if we didn’t – we played a lot of pretend. Alright, so let’s pretend these Marvel toys were part of our collections.
I’ve had my hand in a lot of Superhero toys, especially Marvel with the X-Men, Avengers and such — but these? Well, I had one out of this bunch and I’m almost wishing I had collected ALL of them. Even those over-stuffed Mego fellas!
What I find fun is that Captain Action was about Cosplay too! Captain Action was a G.I. Joe-type figure that you could buy costumes for that fit any Superhero scenario. Captain Spider-Man, anyone? (Ideal Toys, Marvel)
There was always something just so Uncanny Valley going on with the Megos but most definitely this Thor. He’s seen some stuff. Most of that being She-Ra’s salon. (Mego, Marvel)
I have nothing really to mention here other than I loved this action figure as a kid purely because of his lil’ John Waters mustache. (Marvel Comics)
I’ve never seen Hulk look quite so uncomfortable as in this toy from decades ago. Those eyes alone scream “NO, ERIC BANA MOVIE!” and I get it. (Marvel Toys)

There are a lot of Marvel toys to go through, let me add, but pretty much 90 percent of them were SO GOOD! How do you even act like the action figures of the 90’s weren’t balling out of control!? Do you know of toys that were a bit bonkers as a kid of your favorite heroes and television series? Show me! Trust me, I love a laugh.
