One trivia post could never even begin to scratch the surface of the tidbits of facts included in American Horror Story. This visceral and cult-beloved show has such a following it’s unreal, but just how much do they know about the ol’ AHS? Well, let’s get into it and find out!

4. Denis O’Hare, while playing Spalding, would not speak while on the set so as to remain in-character so as to make sure he didn’t slip up during filming.
5. In the Coven season, every single episode features a song by Stevie Nicks and/or Fleetwood Mac. I’m sure you’re not even remotely surprised though.
6. This isn’t the first time Emma Roberts character has been surrounded by a murderous plot. She also stared in Scream 4 and would then go onto be in MTV’s Scream Queens.
7. Neil Patrick Harris’ character Chester Creb surprisingly does not have a Purple Heart medal despite telling people he was wounded in war. This has lead quite a few people to speculate that he lied about the origin of his injuries.
8. In the Cult season, Evan Peters plays a feverishly adamant supporter of, then Candidate, President Trump. Interestingly enough, Peters’ birthday was on the exact day his character’s obsession was inaugurated into office.
9. Not to spoil it or anything, but there is one pivotal character who is decapitated in every single season she appears in. Man, they must really enjoy setting that up, huh?
10. The Asylum in the same-titled season isn’t a hospital but was actually filmed in a courthouse in California.
