With all the hype and excitement around the new Loki show, we took a look back at some of his best moments in the MCU films.
“So I am no more than another stolen relic?”
In the early entries of the MCU films, Loki was once a villain and far less lovable than he is now. But this scene from the first Thor film (one of the few where we see his Frost Giant form), Tom Hiddleston really sells the tragic revelation that Loki is in fact not an Asgardian and is an adopted son of Odin.
“You Must Be Truly Desperate To Come To Me For Help”
Although Thor: The Dark World was not super well received by fans, it does have its fair share of great moments. After Loki discovers his mother’s death, he is truly broken. Even Thor is aware of his pain and tells him drop the illusions.
“Puny God”

“Kneel!”
This is one of the few times we actually see a real dark side to Loki. He’s less of a trickster and has fully tapped into his inner villain. He almost murdered an old man!
“You will never be a god.”
Out of every Marvel film, this is probably the best opening in the MCU. This really set the tone that no one is safe from Thanos, even Loki the God of Mischief. His sacrifice really drives Thor’s narrative in “Infinity War” and “Endgame” as well. Luckily, being the God of Mischief, we are seeing an alternate version (or many alternate versions of him) in “Loki.”

Here’s a bonus compilation of Tom Hiddleston on set as Loki!
