Strange things are happening in the small town of Fox Pointe. Bizarre symbols turning up all over town. Noises in the woods. Bodies turning up. Alex seems to be the only one who notices though. Are they all as connected as he thinks they are?
Attention skeptics and true believers! This month’s theme video for INVESTIGATE contains trolls, a man in black, and a small town mystery. Heavily inspired by two of the crate’s major franchises — Stranger Things and The X-Files — this video is definitely spooky.

Directed by Loot Crate Studios‘ own Adam Murray, the short depicts a young man recounting a tale to the town sheriff who doesn’t believe the story’s grandeur. It features comedic actor DeMorge Brown in a more serious role as the Sheriff and Westworld‘s Ptolemy Slocum as a conspiracy theory laden book keeper.

We follow the tale Alex weaves until we realize what’s actually hiding in the woods. What is it you ask? Well, you’ll have to watch to find out.
