So I don’t know if you’ve heard by now but MY HERO ACADEMIA IS RELEASING ANOTHER MOVIE. This one is expected to be record breaking just like the last, is called My Hero Academia: Hero’s Rising. The next installment from the hit My Hero Academia franchise will be released on February 26 in more than 1,000 theaters across the U.S. and Canada as a limited theatrical engagement in both Japanese (English subtitles) and English dub.
The movie, which marks the second film in the franchise (after 2018’s record-breaking movie) follows the kids of Class 1-A as they work to build a legacy in the shadow of All Might’s retirement. They travel to yet another island in hopes of getting some real hero training down. However, a team of new villains throw a wrench into those plans, forcing a team-up of heroic proportions for all of our favorite heroes-in-training.
I’m sure you remember the 2018 release of My Hero Academia: Two Hero’s, (ya know the one where they go the the scientist island and fight bad guys). Well if you don’t, click here to watch the trailer! That movie was such a huge success they had to extend its theatre run for an extra two weeks because the demand for tickets was outrageous. That movie alone grossed over 5.7 million at the box office and ranked in the top 10 for highest grossing domestic anime films of all time. Even beating Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises.(Let’s not get into that though because everyone who reads these blogs knows I would die for that man.)
That alone gives me reason to buy tickets to see this movie. I mean I was going to anyways, but ya know. Well that’s all I have to say about the new My Hero Academia movie…
also here are some cool MHA gifs I found…
That’s all for this week, folks. As always, thanks for reading and being a fan! Be sure to let us know what you think of the new My Hero Academia: Heros Rising movie on Twitter!
