LEARN MORE ABOUT LOOT ANIME
Hello anime fans! Welcome back to my amazing series of anime blogs which I know you hold so dearly and read on a weekly basis (sarcasm). This week I want to talk about some of the titles we have in our upcoming “Fan Frenzy” crate! This crate features some of the most poppin’ idol anime titles known to man and woman! pun intended. Enough talk, let’s get to the singing and dancing!
KING OF PRISM
The first title we put in this crate was King Of Prism. now if you haven’t heard of King Of Prism, let me give you a quick rundown. King Of Prism by Pretty Rhythm is the spin-off film of the third anime series, Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live. The film takes place over a year later and features the male idol unit, Over The Rainbow. The Prism Show unit Over The Rainbow succeeds in its debut. Aiming to become like the boy band, more students enroll in Edel Rose. Hiro and the others begin practice for the upcoming Prism King Cup, an event that is held once every four years. However, a rival organization similar to Edel Rose called “Schwarz Rose” appears… The boys fight to become Prism King, the one who can make girls’ hearts throb the most. If that doesn’t win you over, I don’t know what will. By the way, there are so many MV’s for this I had to include more than one. See more below!
CALIGULA
Caligula is a very interesting anime, if you have ever seen it you know just how unique it is. Tadashi Satomi is a virtual idol known as μ who performs user-inputted songs and gains self-awareness through exposure to users’ bitter feelings and dissatisfaction toward reality. Wanting to save humanity (which she believes is continuously suffering) she lures people to a virtual reality world called Mobius with her songs. She then imprisons them in Mobius, thinking they will be free from the suffering of reality and that all their wishes will come true. Nine members of the “Going Home Club,” a club that was formed because the characters want to escape from Mobius and go home, try to find a way out. If only she could be apart of this crazy world we live in now.
MISS MONOCHROME
I am not sure if any of you are super deep into the vocaloid universe , but for a long time there was a big debate about whether she classified as a vocaloid or not. I will leave it to you to decide. Miss Monochrome is an original character design from seiyuu Horie Yui. In March 2012, she first used the Miss Monochrome character as a 3D virtual singer to sing her songs at her concert “Horie Yui wo Meguru Bouken III (Secret Mission Tour).” Later, the character appeared in a range of merchandise as well as in the social network game “Girlfriend (Beta).”In the anime, Miss Monochrome, is an android aspiring to become an idol. She had been an admirer of Kikuko and naively thinks that by becoming a famous idol herself, she could meet Kikuko someday. … She is the one who Miss Monochrome looks up to when she decided that she wanted to become an idol.
IDOL INCIDENTS
Idol Incidents takes place in a parallel world similar to ours, the nation of Japan is plagued with social problems, yet its government can do little or nothing. To save the nation from collapsing, seven idol parties become Diet members and, by their song and dance, will rescue the Japanese society from stagnation.Wouldn’t that be the most amazing thing ever if a pop group could save our country from complete annihilation. I would love to know which pop group, whether they be from America, South Korea, Japan, wherever, you think could save the world. Let us know on our TWITTER.
ZOMBIE LAND SAGA
UGH I LOVE THIS ONE. Sakura Minamoto dreams of becoming an idol. Unfortunately, reality hits her like a truck,(a little too literally) and she dies in a sudden traffic accident. Ten years later, she wakes up in Saga Prefecture, only to find herself a zombie with no memory of her past. While still coming to terms with her demise, she meets a man named Koutarou Tatsumi, who explains that he has resurrected her and six other zombie girls from different eras for the purpose of economically revitalizing Saga by means of an idol group. Assuming the role of an abrasive manager, Koutarou begins scheduling events; the girls go along with it, eventually deciding to name their idol group Franchouchou. An absurdly comedic take on the idol genre, Zombieland Saga tells the story of Franchouchou’s heartwarming struggle to save Saga Prefecture while hiding their zombie identities and rediscovering their past lives.
