Okay, sure, at first glance it doesn’t look like there’s much going on here. BUT IS THERE MORE TO IT? If we know Elliot’s been shot, we sure as heck don’t know how long it’ll be ’til he comes to. Could this be part of a crazy dream sequence? Is that mirror really cracked and if so, who did it? Is it going to do some weird liquid-mercury thing like in The Matrix and zap Elliot off to an even stranger scene? Is that shadow on the left just a shadow, or is it a person lurking? Is it Tyrell? It’s Tyrell, isn’t it?… UGH, that guy.
Keep on guessing, folks, because you won’t have to guess too much longer – just a little over one month!
Here’s the Season 3 synopsis:
MR. ROBOT follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who, along with Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and fsociety, starts a revolution to change the world. Picking up immediately following the Season 2 cliffhanger, Season 3 will explore each character’s motivations and the disintegration between Elliot and Mr. Robot. New episodes return Wednesday, October 11 at 10/9c on USA Network.
